Phillip Leitch
Phillip is a professional horseman who specialises in the medieval art of jousting. He regularly jousts competitively and has won tournaments in six different countries on three continents.
He also happens to live in a Castle. On the outskirts of Ballarat, Kryal Castle is a functioning Castle and Medieval theme park where Phillip and his prize steed Valiant perform regularly. In 2019 he and Valiant performed in Antony Hamilton’s first work as Artistic Director of Chunky Move, Token Armies.
Phillip and Valiant have also done numerous performances in television, movies and live performance where no situation is too unusual for the pair who regularly ride in armour fighting against other knights.
