Joshua Faleatua
Joshua is a creator, dreamer, performer and human who connects to the universe through art. He was raised in Auckland, New Zealand and is a University of Auckland dance graduate. He has a strong background in hip hop and has won multiple medals at the World Hip Hop Championships held in the USA.
Since 2017, Joshua has been working for Footnote New Zealand Dance as a full time company member. He has worked as a dancer for many contemporary choreographers including Ross McCormack, Claire O’Neil, Sarah Foster-Sproull, James O’Hara, Malia Johnston, Lauren Langlois, Joshua Rutter and many more. He has toured and performed in multiple shows nationally and internationally.
Outside of dance, Joshua works as a freelance videographer (filming and editing), creating online content for various artists and businesses. Art making has been a part of Joshua’s entire life and he hopes to keep this love for creating alive for as long as he lives.
