Jenni Large

Jenni is a contemporary dance artist collaborating, performing, choreographing, teaching and rehearsal directing based in lutruwita/Tasmania.

Grounded in her experiences and passion for working in regional settings, Jenni is driven by the personal and political potency of embodiment. Her practice locates the body as a site for transformation, play and connection.

Jenni has worked extensively across independent and company environments, regionally, remotely, nationally and internationally.
Notably, as a formative ensemble member with Kyle Page & Amber Haines at Dancenorth from 2015-2020.
Currently, a creative associate at Tasdance, Jenni’s recent choreographic works have premiered at Mona Foma and Ten Days On The Island.
Jenni has also performed with Legs On The Wall, GUTS Dance, Leigh Warren & Dancers, Sue Peacock, Isabella Stone, Aimee Smith, Jo Lloyd and worked as a rehearsal director for ADC and Dancenorth.
