Immacolata
Immacolata is a hypnotic dance work that draws audiences into an intimate, perceptual vortex.
Like ‘a spool of thread, tightening and unravelling all at once’, the work folds itself into a warped domestic scene. Dreamlike and faintly sinister, it wavers at the edge of no return.
Emerging from a period of personal upheaval, Immacolata engages the body as a complex psychological and performative site, inviting audiences into a reflective encounter with purgatory, haunting and the buried living.
