Universal Estate at Dark Mofo

Chunky Move presents Universal Estate by Antony Hamilton at Dark Mofo this coming June 2019.

A nightly, durational dance bad dream, set in a retro-futurist beige enclosure in the middle of a huge, derelict office. Two humanoids move, jerk and shift through the space, performing the never-ending task of organising strange technological objects and machines. In the wake of the industrial and technological revolutions of recent centuries, Universal Estate explores the role these things have in a future that is hell-bent on worshipping a cult of tech-obsolescence.
